What can I expect when I book a counseling appointment?
New clients will receive an email with log-in information to the client portal, Practice Better. Within Practice Better, clients can schedule meetings, fill out initial paperwork, and securely message the dietitian. This is also where clients and the dietitian meet to video chat. Appointments last 60 minutes. Out of pocket payments are due at the time of service.
Most clients work with the dietitian for six months to a year.
Do you take insurance?
Yes, Tomata is in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina with the exception of Blue Home, Blue Value, and Blue Local plans. Tomata also is in-network with Medicaid.
What are the sliding scale fees?
